Welcome to St. Peter's Parish Church!

Welcome to St. Peter’s Parish Church!

Welcome in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. We are an historic Episcopal church in the Diocese of Virginia. Founded in 1679 and steeped in history, we continue to thrive and look to the future. Ours is an active and joyful community with parishioners of all ages. We invite you to worship with us. Due to the public health emergency and COVID-19 pandemic, our buildings are currently closed to the public. We are joining together for worship online on Sunday mornings at 9:00 a.m. If you would like to join us, please sign up for our weekly e-mail newsletter, The E-Pistle, which contains all our service information.

Grace and Peace,

 The Rev’d Kristin P. R. Wickersham, Rector

In light of the current public health emergency and at the direction of the Rt. Rev. Susan E. Goff, Bishop Suffragan and Ecclesiastical Authority of the Episcopal Diocese of Virginia, our buildings and grounds are closed to all but essential staff until further notice. No gatherings are allowed in our church buildings or on our grounds. Permission to access the buildings or use the grounds must be granted by the rector. We urge everyone to abide by the stay-at-home orders of our civic leaders.
